Hello, my name is Dane Miller and I would like to personally welcome you to the new home of danespix photography. This site was built to showcase my photography displaying a featured photograph on the home page and my portfolio of galleries on subsequent pages.

I enjoy taking pictures of family, friends, sports and nature. Some of my favorite things to photograph are disc golf, dog agility, snowmobiling, scenic nature and wildlife as well as the places I travel to.

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel T1I which is now what I use to take all of my pictures. I used to use a Sony DSC-H9 so you will find a lot my older photos were taken with this camera. This Sony has traveled to numerous countries with me and has been used for thousands of photographs. I have a lot of things to learn with the new Canon DSLR replacement but as you will see I am growing more comfortable with the Canon everyday.

The photo to the left shows me hanging with the Bull in New York City. This picture was taken in April of 2009 on a vacation that I took with my parents to Washington DC and New York City.
